Adaptation in Malaysia

When I came here in ALBUKHARY INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY, I was amazed of their hospitality both of the staffs and students, they were welcomed me and treat well. Within two days I have never tried going outside the campus due to fear that I might astray also that I could not speak Malaysian language. As the days passes by, I have been associating with my colleagues to make friends and to be socialize with them and this university. Regarding the foods, it is naturally for us that at first time we would not like it. However, eventually I have learned and accustomed with the foods.

Attending university expected a lot of challenges that we can encounter such as the cultures, environments, foods, social problems, loneliness as well as our studies. Being a foreign student there is a lot of adjustments in order to mingle with students and socialize with a certain university. It can be terrifying at first but with a little bit of effort, it can become one of the greatest experiences of our lives. It is very important to enjoy our university studies because it will help us become responsible as long as we learn how to survive it. Adjusting to a new culture can be a challenging and stressful experience. Furthermore, coming from different cultures, foreign students cannot escape from cultural shock.

Studying here in AIU, not just only of its quality of knowledge but also empowers the social values of the students because of its diverseness which the students come from different part of the world.
To end my humble speech I would like to say I am very thankful for the scholarship which given to me by Albukhary Foundation as well as Almighty God (ALLAH). I hope to shower us his blessings here in AIU FAMILY.
